ABC News Appearance

It seems that no matter where I live, I always end up on the ABC news station. In PA I did syndicated interviews that appeared on ABC beginning in 1998. From there it was weekly cooking demos on ABC in Ocean City, Maryland. Then ABC in San Fran where I moved to do a cooking show. Next it was Vegas and weekly cooking demos on their ABC affiliate.

As for my affinity for ABC, I think it’s because growing up, ABC was THE station. I really don’t remember watching any other station in the 70’s & early 80’s. In fact, my favorite ABC show, Three’s Company, is the very reason why I live on the beach in Santa Monica, CA. Although, instead of me and two other roommates, it’s just me and my cat Dharma in our beach front pad. Hey, I’m not complaining. I love it here.

Jack, Crissy and Janet were definitely on to something. I just wish I had moved here sooner. I also just remembered, as I’m writing, that Suzanne Somers is one of the reasons I went to college to become a Dietitian. As much as I like her on TV, I dislike the fact that she touts herself as an expert yet she has absolutely no formal education in this field. But I still love Three’s Company!
